The extra soft heel cushion is intended to alleviate plantar fascitis, and heel related syndromes that indirectly translate into knee and lower back pain, by helping support the weight load on the ankle, hip joint and sacrum. You must slightly sprinkle the top side of the heel cushion with baby powder to minimize friction with your foot.
